BOGS° Footwear Steps Up Work Collection with New Styles

Brand’s expertise in work will be on display at 2018 SHOT trade show

Portland, OR. (January 23, 2018) – BOGS° Footwear, the brand known for innovative technology and comfort, is growing its presence in the Work market with several new collections in 2018. The Foundation, Bedrock and Pillar join an assortment of well-established and proven performance boots that were founded on the feet of farmers in rural Oregon 15 years ago.

“Our start was building boots for some of the most discerning users; people who spend the entire day on their feet, as part of their livelihood, in some of the most challenging environments and weather conditions,” states Kevin Kious, Vice President of Sales-Work for BOGS° footwear. “In 2018, we plan to bring even more innovation and features to the men and women who wear our footwear as part of their daily uniform. We’re pouring everything we know about comfort and protection into our newest work collection.”

Available March 2018, the Foundation Leather Mid and Low boots are equipped with safety features such as BioGrip outsole combining ASTM standard slip and chemical resistance, as well as comfort features like Rebound cushioning in the midsole and footbed. Available with asymmetric composite toes that are custom built for each size and meet ASTM standards (MSRP: $160 / $170)

Available in Fall 2018, the all new Bedrock adds 3MM of Neo-Tech insulation to the boot to combat sub-zero temperatures, though for those who prefer it, a non-insulated version is also available. With puncture proof construction, the Bedrook mid-, 8”- and 8” insulated styles are also available with asymmetric composite toes (MSRP $170/$180/$190).

With the same great features of the Foundation and Bedrock styles, the Pillar boot (MSRP: $135 / $145) – offered in both steel- and soft- toe, 6” and 8” heights – also features BioGrip outsole that’s complemented by the inclusion of Rebound cushioning for all-day comfort. With a 5/8” heel at a 90-degree angle, the Pillar is perfect for jobs that require activities such as climbing ladders, digging, and various jobs around the work site.
