Salewa North America Announces Transition in Leadership

Dave Drulard, Industry Veteran is Hired as the New Sales and Marketing Director for Salewa North America
Boulder, Colorado (April 16, 2018) – Salewa North America, the leading international mountain sports company born and bred in the Italian Dolomites which operates the DYNAFIT, SALEWA, WILD COUNTRY, and POMOCA brands in the United States and Canada, announced today a transition in its North American leadership. Dave Drulard was appointed as the new Sales and Marketing Director of Salewa North America. In this role, Dave will further develop Salewa North America’s wholesale strategy, elevate the company’s brand presence across all specialty partners, continue to build a best-in-class customer service team and aggressively bolster digital marketing efforts.
Dave has more than 17 years of experience across multiple parts of the outdoor industry having worked in retail, wholesale, management and establishing go to market strategies. Dave has both hard and soft goods experience from his previous experience with The North Face, Black Diamond and most recently Patagonia where he was managing REI as Key Account Sales Manager. Drulard’s impressive sales portfolio is forecasted to bolster the momentum of Salewa North America’s ambitious growth and marketing goals, develop new B2B programs, and continue to grow all four of the brands in North America.

In Dave’s new role, he will oversee the rep teams and dealer relationships in the United States and Canada. These roles, along with Dave’s background in outdoor specialty retail, have all uniquely prepared him for this role here in Boulder, Colorado. When Dave is not driving outdoor sales and unique marketing initiatives, you can find him skiing powder, riding singletrack or playing in the hills with his family.
