prAna Introduces Its First Eco-Friendly Insulated Outerwear Collection for Fall 2020

Carlsbad, CA – October 19, 2020– prAna, creator of the Clothing for Positive Change and leader in sustainable, outdoor apparel, is pleased to introduce the brand’s first eco-friendly insulated outerwear collection. With close to twenty styles, the Fall 2020 outerwear collection is sustainable and offers elevated city and outdoor style for all-weather protection. Available for both men and women, these insulated styles provide versatile options for seasonal weather transitions and heart-of-winter warmth. The Fall 2020 outerwear collection launches today exclusively on prana.com and will available to retailers for the Fall 2021 season.

“This outerwear collection rounds out our seasonal offering to the consumer, servicing their cold-weather needs in these rapidly changing times,” said Andrea Cinque-Austin, prAna’s design director. “From their daily city commute to their great outdoor adventures; we provide timeless style, function, versatility, and sustainability in this new product range. We also included many adaptive design elements, such as internal waist and hem cinches to adjust shape and silhouette, detachable faux-fur hoods, suspenders for quick climate transitions, and multi-use appeal.”

The collection features bluesign®-certified fabrics and fills, Allied Responsible Down Standard (RDS) certified 650-power fill down and PFC-free Durable Water Repellent (DWR) with a dozen styles providing 10K/20K waterproof/breathability. The collection’s matte nylon shell has a luxurious hand feel while thoughtful details such as cozy micro fleece-lined pockets, internal waist drawcords, and leather pulls give the styles a premium feel. The style offerings range from baffled bombers, to flat front internally baffled jackets, from hooded styles with removable faux fur trim to collared styles with a shirt tail finish.
