HitchFire forges new partnership to help to eliminate single-use propane tanks

December 17, 2021 (Santa Cruz, CA) – HitchFire, the creator of purpose-built hitch-mounted grills has teamed up with Ignik, the makers of environmentally thoughtful outdoor heating products, as their official partner for refillable propane tanks. The partnership was formed in recognition of HitchFire’s commitment to reducing the use of single use propane tanks and provide an easy and more cost-effective way for customers to power their hitch mounted grills. The Ignik refillable Gas Growler holds 4.5 liters of fuel, or over nine times the propane housed in the disposable cannisters and can be refilled at most propane filling stations.

HitchFire, created by the founders of Tepui rooftop tents, launched in 2020 with the Forge 15 model, named for its double high-output 7,500 BTU propane burners.
