The Dream of the 90’s is Alive at Mountainsmith
December 29, 2015
(Golden, CO) – Mountainsmith—craftsmen of iconic backcountry equipment and recreational outdoor gear— will be introducing a series of vintage 90’s-era pack designs for a special Fall 2016 launch of Mountainsmith’s Roots Collection, including historical favorites World Cup, Grand Tour, and Wizard. The new packs are set to debut in Salt Lake City, during Outdoor Retailer Winter Market (booth #8027) in January.
Mountainsmith is tapping into its 37-year heritage by resurrecting some of their most cherished designs from the mid-90s, as trail-inspired commuter bags. The Roots Collection features six styles inspired by the brand’s rich history, retrofitted to accommodate modern travel demands. Honoring their trademark durability, the line will be produced using CORDURA fabric.
“We are not briefcase people, but we still need to get our computers, chargers, notebooks, and files to and from work. “ Says Jeremy Dodge, Marketing Manager at Mountainsmith. “The Roots collection marries vintage Mountainsmith outdoor style with modern utility for a 2016 commute.”
The Roots Collection will ship to retailers across the nation fall 2016. For information on Mountainsmith’s current products, please visit www.mountainsmith.com
