Kora Expands its Yak Wool Midweight Outdoor Collection

August 4, 2021 – Kora (https://koraoutdoor.com), the pioneer in using yak wool for performance apparel, today announces the expansion of its Yardang Collection, to now include a new midweight (240gsm) Quarter-Zip Jersey, Hat, and Neck Gaiter. Kora has also introduced new colours Copper Orange and Lake Blue to this collection.

Like all of the brand’s Hima-Layer™ fabrics, the kora team designed and developed the Yardang; a blend of 70% ultrafine, non-mulesed merino, supercharged by 30% premium Himalayan yak wool. Designed for incredible comfort and breathability in all weather conditions, this particular Hima-Layer fabric is geared to four-season activities whether backcountry skiing or taking a stroll along the coast on a summer’s evening – the fabric will assist to regulate your temperature lessening any extremes of feeling hot and cold. The unique blend of yak and merino also means Yardang is Buttery-soft to the touch.

Kora’s new Yardang Jersey is designed as a midweight, mid-layer. It is brilliantly versatile and fits perfectly over a base layer and is light enough to also have another sweater layered on top for cooler days. Available in the new Lake Blue and Copper Orange colors.

Yardang Hat:

A snug-fitting pull-on hat with a double-layer main shell and a stitched rim to ensure a close shape-holding fit. Perfect for stuffing into a pocket for any eventuality. Available in four classic colors; Lake Blue, Copper Orange, Epidote Green and Steatite Grey.

Yardang Neck-Gaiter:

The neck gaiter is designed to sit around the neck in soft folding layers. There is enough stretch to easily be pulled over the mouth and nose to protect the face. The gaiter is available in the new Lake Blue and Copper Orange colors.
