Best Kayaks of the Year – 2021 Best In Class Awards by PaddleTV Announced
October 25, 2021
Beachburg, Canada /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – The final Best in Class award has been announced by world-renowned paddler, instructor, television host, and YouTuber, Ken Whiting on PaddleTV. Ken spent the summer testing some of the industry’s top paddling gear and has narrowed down five of the industry’s top kayaks, awarding them the title of 2021 Kayaks of the Year.
A natural evolution from PaddleTV’s Buyer’s Guide YouTube series, the Best in Class awards celebrate the “best of the best” in paddlesports. Produced by Heliconia, the Best in Class awards are an authentic and unbiased celebration showcasing the year’s top paddlesports products. Each Best in Class video have featured the top three to seven products within a specific category. For each product featured, Ken will talk about why he has chosen it as one of the top products of the year, and who should consider purchasing it.
The awards have been released through the PaddleTV YouTube channel, and are also being shared through Facebook and Instagram. With 86,000 subscribers and more than 16.5 million views, PaddleTV is one of the most popular paddling-focused YouTube channels in the world. The categories in the Best in Class series include:
- Best Portable Kayaks of 2021
- Best Beginner Kayaks of 2021
- Best High-Performance Paddles of 2021
- 2021 Kayaks of the Year
And so, without any further ado, the winners for 2021 Kayaks of the Year, listed in no particular order, are the P&H Virgo MV, Bonafide’s EX 123, Wilderness Systems Pungo 120, Oru Kayak’s Inlet, and the Hobie iTrek 9. Watch the full video here: https://youtu.be/NiuMDw1S4j8.
“The biggest challenge the paddlesport industry faces is turning the large number of new and casual paddlers into lifetime participants,” explains Ken. “One of the best ways to do this is to help them choose the right gear to ensure a positive paddling experience.” Submissions for PaddleTV’s Buyer’s Guide 2022 are now open, and brands interesting in submitting their products for consideration are encouraged to visit https://www.heliconia.ca/paddle-tv-buyers-guide/
