Inviting all mountain-goers to honor and recognize their local ski patrol
Seattle, WA (January 13, 2022) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – On February 10, 2022, Helly Hansen, the global ski and outdoor brand trusted by professionals, will take part in the first annual International Ski Patrol Day to recognize ski patrollers and their extraordinary work to keep resorts open, safe and fun for people of all ages and skill levels. Resorts, brands and individuals – pros and enthusiasts alike – are encouraged to come together on this day and show their appreciation for patrollers. From sharing a high-five or a pizza to Thank You messages and donations, there’s endless room for creativity.
“Helly Hansen is proud to outfit over 55,000 professionals globally, including ski patrollers and skiers, and we see International Ski Patrol Day as an opportunity to say, ‘thank you’ to all patrollers for their dedication to keeping people safe on the mountain,” says Brady Barry, Marketing Manager at Helly Hansen US. “We’re excited to see the outpouring of appreciation from skiers and snowboarders all around the world. In support of ski patrollers everywhere, Helly Hansen will donate 5% of all its ecomm sales from February 10-14, 2022, to various organizations that support ski patrol.”
On a global front, Helly Hansen will also be sharing live takeovers from featured ski patrollers around the world on their Instagram channel (@hellyhansen) throughout the day – including Sun Valley’s Hannah Baybutt who is also the focus of the brand’s “We Belong in the Mountains” campaign this winter. They also encourage you to share how you are celebrating ski patrollers through your own social channels on International Ski Patrol Day using #skipatrolday.
International Ski Patrol Day activations will be taking place across the US on February 10, 2022. Keep an eye out for information specific to your local mountain by following their social media channels or making sure you’re on their email list for seasonal news and updates.
