Kathmandu Announces North American Sales Teams

Bozeman, Mont., (February 25, 2019) — Kathmandu, the iconic New Zealand travel and adventure brand, announces new sales representation in the pacific northwest, rockies, and southwest by The Alta Group, Urban Outdoors, and Pacific Crest Trading accordingly.
“We have assembled some of the most experienced and professional sales reps in the business and we look forward to working with them to build the Kathmandu brand in North America,” said Bill Chandler, VP Sales and Marketing, Kathmandu NA.
The Alta Group (www.altagroupinc.com) will be representing the brand in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. The Seattle based agency prides itself on working with manufactures who share their personal commitment to the environment and sustainability. The Alta Group also represents Petzl, Nikwax, Adventure Medial Kits, and Oboz footwear.
Urban Outdoors (www.urbanoutdoorsales.net) will represent Kathmandu in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, and New Mexico. Founded in 2016 by Nick Patston, Urban Outdoors services a mix of brands in the tactical and outdoor markets including Propper International, Nightstick, Brooking Industries, Optic Nerve, Qalo, and Croakies.
Pacific Crest Trading (www.pctreps.com) will represent Kathmandu in California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii. Founded by Dan Miller in 1998 following stints as an agency rep and a dealer service representative for Gregory Mountain Products, the Truckee, California based agency represents Cascade Designs, Gregory packs, Darn Tough, and Oboz.
