Mizu Announces its Beach and Park Clean-Up Program

Today, Mizu, producer of reusable stainless steel products for an adventure-rich lifestyle announced its new no-cost program to inspire non-profits to organize beach or park clean ups as summer approaches.

Carlsbad, California, April 13^th, 2022 /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Today, Mizu, producer of reusable stainless steel products for an adventure-rich lifestyle announced its new no-cost program to inspire non-profits to organize beach or park clean ups as summer approaches.

The program offers free product donations to qualified non-profit organizations that hold a beach or park clean-up this summer. The non-profit organization simply informs Mizu of the event and the number of volunteers that they expect, and if approved, Mizu will supply each volunteer with a Mizu water bottle, a tote bag, and a straw beach hat (while supplies last).

Mizu’s stated company mission is to help reduce pollution from single-use products and packaging. The original mission targeted pollution from single-use water bottles, but Mizu has expanded this mission, and its product line over the years by adding products to replace other environmentally damaging single-use products like plastic cutlery, beer cups and coffee cup lids.

“COVID-19 sucked in a lot of ways we all know about, but also in less obvious and less talked about ways, some that set us back in our efforts to reduce pollution”, said Mizu CEO Tim Pogue. “Things like coffee shops not allowing people fill up their reusable cups and bottles, to the millions of discarded single-use face masks we can all see blowing down the sidewalks – many of these policies had the unintended result of creating a massive amount of trash, and so we wanted to inspire people to do something about it and thank them for the effort.”
