Helinox Hires Nelson Garcia and Ezra Shaffer to Support Continued Growth

BERKELEY, Calif. – September 12, 2022 /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Helinox, a modern design company and the original maker of lightweight, portable furniture and accessories, today announces that Nelson Garcia and Ezra Shaffer have joined the brand and will be based at Helinox’s North American headquarters in Berkeley, Calif.

Garcia joins the brand as Senior Art Director, a new role where he will lead the building of Helinox’s visual identity in the market. Garcia brings decades of experience, having held Art Director roles with Timbuk2 and The Gap.

Shaffer joins as Senior Director of eCommerce, where he will leverage his background balancing brand and consumer acquisition to strengthen Helinox’s online presence. Shaffer has decades of brand, ecommerce and marketing experience, including executive roles with DC Shoes, Honda, Giro Sport Design and West Marine.
