TGR and Helly Hansen collaborate to present Ryan’s ascent to the pinnacle of pro skiing

Jackson, Wyo. The film, shot in TGR’s backyard at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Grand Teton National Park, as well as in Alaska, details Ryan’s ski education and progression from a Jackson Hole newcomer to one of the most determined big-mountain skiers in the world and a featured athlete in TGR’s 27th annual film, Magic Hour.

Shaped by ski racing in Vermont and raised on the slopes of Killington Resort, Ryan finished a two-decade-long racing career only to find himself lost. An unexpected call from a friend “saved” him, and Ryan found himself in the Mecca of big mountain skiing: Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

With a desire to learn and be mentored, he committed to a path towards professional skiing one run at a time. Peak Evolution features heart-pounding footage of Ryan’s daring descents in the Tetons. He ticks off demanding lines on the South, Middle, and Grand Teton with style and speed rarely seen in such technical terrain.
