The Marin Mile is set to join the Movemint event platform for the 2025 edition of the race.

SAN FRANCISCO [07/17/24] /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – The Marin Mile is set to join the Movemint event platform for the 2025 edition of the race. This exciting partnership marks a step forward in the evolution of The Marin Mile, ensuring the event continues to meet the evolving needs of its vibrant community.

The Marin Mile enjoyed an incredible first year in 2024. Race directors Brody Barkan and Shai Goodman created the Marin Mile to share their love of running with the San Francisco Bay Area.

When asked about the decision to partner with Movemint for 2025, Barkan said, “We’re incredibly excited to be partnering with Movemint for the next iteration of The Marin Mile.” Goodman added, “Working with Movemint gives us the flexibility to create the kind of race we want to see, and continue to grow and change based on the needs of our community.”

While only in its second year, the Marin Mile has already established itself as a highlight of the summer racing calendar in the Bay Area. The Marin Mile is a one mile race that anyone can walk, jog or run. It features electronic timing and is an official USATF sanctioned event. This past year at The Marin Mile, Olympic trialist Dana Klein set a new Marin County record with a mile time of 4:47.8.

With Movemint’s innovative tools and user-friendly platform, The Marin Mile will enhance participant engagement, streamline event management, and introduce new features that will elevate the overall race experience. This collaboration underscores both parties’ commitment to fostering new and innovative events for the athletic community.
