Redhook and Widmer Brothers entered the partnership with WH inc. following the strong growth of their sister brand, 10 Barrel Brewing, since establishing a formal relationship with the agency in 2022. Coupled with its longstanding support for the Portland Timbers soccer team, Widmer Bros’ contributions to brewing helped shape the city’s culture over the years, ushering in a new era for craft beer with Portland at the front lines. Its flagship brew—Hefe—established the category of American-style Hefeweizen, a recipe that continues to define the flavor standard today, while adding in the citrus twist that has become a staple addition for any American Hefeweizen served today.
