Cache_Seven Partners with Nantucket Race Week, Celebrating a Community’s Love of the Sea

Nantucket, MA, August 9, 2024 /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – The Cache_Seven team is excited to announce their sponsorship of Nantucket Race Week (NRW). Specifically, Cache_Seven will be the title sponsor for the Kite and Melges 15 Regattas. The almost two-week-long event raises money to support Nantucket Community Sailing (NCS), an island non-profit organization that provides affordable access to sailing and water sports for all ages. The event supports nearly $150,000.00 in youth scholarships and community outreach programs.

Through the efforts of organizations like NCS and their partner organizations, such as Nantucket Yacht Club and Great Harbor Yacht Club, each summer, Nantucket is the beneficiary of some of the industry’s most accomplished sailing and water sports professionals internationally. Race Week is a showcase opportunity for the close to 60 seasonal pros to race alongside and even against the best talent the island community represents.

About Nantucket Race Week
Nantucket Race Week and the Opera House Cup are the primary fundraising events for Nantucket Community Sailing, a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization. Support of Nantucket Community Sailing allows the organization to teach 1,000 kids to sail and provides $150,000 in scholarships and free sailing to underserved children and adults each year. Since its founding in 1994, Nantucket Community Sailing has taught 18,000 children and granted over $1M in sailing scholarships through funds from registration, sponsorship and Friends of the Cup donations, directly supporting all sailing programs.
