BRANWYN honored for remarkable growth and unwavering dedication to women and climate
Bend, OR – August 13, 2024 /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – BRANWYN, the women’s seamless Merino Performance Innerwear brand, is thrilled to announce its inclusion in the 2024 Inc. 5000 list. This annual list celebrates the fastest-growing private companies in America, highlighting the success of independent, entrepreneurial enterprises in the nation’s most dynamic economic sector. BRANWYN, which ranked 109th on the Inc. 5000 list, was also cited as the 7th fastest-growing company in the U.S. Consumer Goods sector and the 3rd fastest-growing brand in Oregon.
“We are honored to be recognized among the nation’s fastest-growing companies,” said Deanne Buck, President of BRANWYN Performance Innerwear. “This achievement is a testament to our incredible and growing community. We are laser-focused on designing and crafting the highest quality performance products with women’s expectations and health at the forefront of every decision. Our growth journey is a reflection of an honest and transparent connection with our community, an investment in that connection, and commitment to do the right by women and the planet in every piece of certified non-toxic innerwear we produce.”
Since its market debut in 2019, BRANWYN has doubled its flagship Performance Innerwear collection: the Bralette, Busty Bra, Hipster, Bikini, Thong and, most recently, Racerback Sports Bra. Looking ahead, BRANWYN will continue to expand the Performance Innerwear line with key staples, and will drop a limited edition sustainable wool active goods “SWAG” athleisure capsule collection this fall.
BRANWYN has achieved impressive milestones, including contributing over $100,000 to its Empowerment Partners, organizations dedicated to connecting women and girls to the inspiration and empowerment of the outdoors. Committed to the most ethical, sustainable, and regenerative business practices, BRANWYN utilizes ZQ, OEKO-TEX 100, and Woolmark certified yarns, invests in biodegradable packaging, and offsets its carbon footprint. These accomplishments reflect BRANWYN’s dedication to delivering high-quality Merino Performance Innerwear while making a significant impact on the planet and promoting gender equality.
The Inc. 5000 class of 2024 represents companies that have driven rapid revenue growth while navigating inflationary pressure, the rising costs of capital, and seemingly intractable hiring challenges. Among this year’s top 500 companies, the average median three-year revenue growth rate is 1,637 percent. In all, this year’s Inc. 5000 companies have added 874,458 jobs to the economy over the past three years. BRANWYN’s growth is primarily the result of direct-to-consumer sales via its website www.branwyn.com. The company engages in select strategic retail collaborations with aligned outdoor industry brick and mortar shops.
“One of the greatest joys of my job is going through the Inc. 5000 list,” says Mike Hofman, who recently joined Inc. as editor-in-chief. “To see all of the intriguing and surprising ways that companies are transforming sectors, from health care and AI to apparel and pet food, is fascinating for me as a journalist and storyteller. Congratulations to this year’s honorees, as well, for growing their businesses fast despite the economic disruption we all faced over the past three years, from supply chain woes to inflation to changes in the workforce.”

Methodology
Companies on the 2024 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2020 to 2023. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2020. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2023. (Since then, some on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2020 is $100,000; the minimum for 2023 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Growth rates used to determine company rankings were calculated to four decimal places.
