TREW Gear Brings “TREW To You” Film Project to Salt Lake City, UT

The final week of TREW's film contest and tour rolls through Salt Lake City on Thursday, November 7th.

Salt Lake City, Utah /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – TREW Gear is pleased to announce that the TREW To You film contest is coming to Salt Lake City, UT, on Thursday, November 7th, for a special screening at Level 9 Sports Downtown Location. This screening is part of a North American tour celebrating local snowboarding and skiing communities through a one-of-a-kind film series.

TREW To You is all about embracing the creativity and community spirit of the snowboarding and skiing world. The contest invited ten teams to create films that highlight their local scenes and the unique stories of their communities. Competing for a $15,000 grand prize, each film showcases the essence of their home mountain culture, with audience voting deciding the winners.

Meet Erica, Marcus, Nic, Calen, and AJ—a dynamic group of creatives who have been collaborating on projects for years. Each team member brings a unique strength to the table: Nic’s sharp eye captures stunning stills, AJ’s creativity drives the team, Marcus, affectionately known as the “weird rig guy,” finds the most unconventional camera angles, and Calen’s skills as a drone operator and filmer add an aerial edge. At the helm is Erica, taking on her first directing role with a vision and enthusiasm. Together, they’re beyond excited to be part of the TREW To You contest.

“How do you know when you’re on the right path…”

Erica, Marcus, Nic, Calen, and AJ have been working together on projects for the past few years. Each teammate brings their own strength: Nic has a keen eye for stills, AJ is a creative powerhouse, Marcus is often called the “weird rig guy” (due to his unique camera angles), Calen is a talented drone op/filmer, and Erica’s has a vision. This will be Erica’s first time directing a project with a creative team. They are all VERY stoked to be a part of the Trew To You contest.
