Brothers & Company Promotes Lawson

Agency veteran will oversee firm's client service discipline

TULSA, Okla., October 23, 2019 — Brothers & Company announced today that it has promoted James B. Lawson to lead the agency’s Client Service department. In his new role, Lawson will work to maximize the potential of the department while continuing to oversee his current client roster. His title of Vice President remains unchanged.

“I’ve been involved with client service for many, many years. Over that time, I’ve never met anyone who gives better counsel than James Lawson when it comes to building out a strategy or overcoming a particular challenge,” said Brothers & Company Chief Brand and Revenue Officer, Jeff Tolle. “James’ instincts are incredibly well honed. He is decisive and smart, and he always has the best interests of both our clients and our agency at heart.”

Among the areas in which Lawson will focus his efforts in his new position are a systematic integration of data-informed strategy across all clients; increasing growth within the department, both in terms of client recruitment, but also in adding key personnel to manage the resulting influx of work; serving as the tip of the spear for Brothers & Company’s brand of service; and championing the creative output of the agency.

Lawson, who has been with Brothers & Company since 2011, is heavily involved with the outdoor industry and numerous conservation groups beyond his work with the firm. He is a Professional Member of the Boone & Crockett Club, a Conservation Coalition of Oklahoma board member and a Life Member of numerous conservation organizations.
