Mountainsmith Adds Sales and Marketing Coordinator and Product Designer to Growing Team

Golden, CO – Mountainsmith—craftsmen of iconic backcountry equipment and recreational outdoor gear—are pleased to announce the hiring of Torie Palffy as Sales and Marketing Coordinator and Cody Durham as Product Designer. These new positions will allow for enhanced product, as well as marketing and sales support to dealer partners, sales team representatives and ultimately the outdoor consumer. This expansion follows a year of exponential growth and product innovation at Mountainsmith.

Palffy comes to Mountainsmith from iModerate – a Denver consumer and marketing insights firm – where she was responsible for managing business efforts ranging from project execution to insights strategy. As Sales and Marketing Coordinator, she will apply her background in graphic design and marketing strategy in order to increase brand awareness and facilitate sales on the retailer level.

Durham brings an extensive background in industrial design, with experience in 2D and 3D environmental branding for Monigle Associates, as well as having worked as a product designer at Omerica Organic. As Product Designer, Durham will be working directly with the design team to not only ideate new concepts for future product development, but also expand and refine current product line mainstays.
