Setton Farms Sponsors the Annual Long Island Heart Walk

Commack, NY (September 15, 2016) – Setton International Foods, Inc.- a leader in the snack food industry for over 50 years based in Long Island, New York- is proud to announce they are the official sponsor of the My Heart Food Tent for the annual Long Island Heart Walk supporting The American Heart Association. The event is expected to have over 4,000 attendees and will take place on Sunday, September 18th at Jones Beach Field 5 in Wantagh, NY. Setton will hand out heart-healthy Pistachio Chewy Bites and 100 calorie packs of pistachios to the walkers so they can fuel up and enjoy a healthy snack before and after the walk. In addition to being a sponsor, Setton Farms has formed a team of employees, family members, and friends to participate in the three-mile fund raising walk.

The American Heart Association has set their sights on raising $580,000, which will be used for research, education, advocating for better health, improving patient care, and reaching at risk populations. Attendees at this year’s Heart Walk will have the opportunity to enjoy festivities including giveaways, kid zones, team photo opportunities, entertainment, and more.
