Mountainsmith Renews Partnership With National Ski Patrol & Debuts New Patrol Tour Lumbar Pack to NSP Members

(Golden, CO) – Mountainsmith—craftsmen of iconic backcountry equipment and recreational outdoor gear—has renewed their long-standing partnership with the National Ski Patrol (NSP). In honor of the announcement, Mountainsmith collaborated with NSP to create the Patrol Tour, a lumbar pack designed specifically to help Patrollers best serve the mountain. The Patrol Tour will be available only to members of the National Ski Patrol and sold exclusively through the NSP store.

To celebrate their renewed partnership, National Ski Patrol and Mountainsmith set out to create a pack that could withstand the daily punishment that Ski Patrollers inflict on their gear. Patrol work not only requires exceptionally durable equipment, but also a system compatible with the specific tools Patrollers carry to protect our slopes. Mountainsmith is proud to provide NSP with a carry solution that caters to these needs, in addition to monetary donations and marketing collaborations.
