MYSTERY RANCH Women’s Packs to be Included with Wylder Launch

MYSTERY RANCH, an industry-leading pack company built on a heritage of function, comfort, quality and durability, is thrilled to be included in the inaugural collection of brands offered by Wylder, a new online retailer for the modern outdoorswoman. Wyldergoods.com, which launched today and is now open for sales, was conceptualized as a place to find the best products, read inspiring stories and engage with a community of like-minded outdoor women.  For the immediate holiday season the Kletterwerks Flip daypack by MYSTERY RANCH is offered. For Spring 2017 the all new women’s STEIN 62, a lightweight pack for adventure backpacking, will be available through Wyldergoods.com.

Wylder co-founders, Lindsey Elliott and Jainee Dial, approached MYSTERY RANCH to be a part of their first collection of products because of the brand’s reputation for building durable mission-based packs and the brand’s commitment to building packs that truly fit and function well for women. MYSTERY RANCH co-founder and design lead, Dana Gleason, was one of the first in the outdoor industry to recognize that the women’s fit is unique and demands distinct design and styling. Gleason’s first women’s pack was built under his Dana Design label in 1987.

While packs for men and women demand the same feature set and function, Gleason’s women’s waist belt and harnessing are unique. The women’s waist belt is built in sections so it can pivot and adapt to a wide variety of hip and waist dimensions and shapes and it ride lower across the front, so it doesn’t dig into the abdomen. The MYSTERY RANCH women’s harness is narrower and curved for a more comfortable fit as well.
