Honnold, age 36, is a brand-new dad, and fatherhood makes for a terrific equalizer. It transforms otherwise superhuman men into everyday citizens, leaving them to paw around in the dark for fresh diapers, for nearby pacifiers, and for answers that can take years to arrive, if ever.
