Provision 6 Couples Altra’s Latest in Footwear Innovation with its Tried and True Technology

DENVER (Nov. 8, 2021) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Altra Running, a leading innovator in the performance footwear category, has launched its Provision 6 road shoe. The Provision 6 brings new innovative features to the pavement, coupled with Altra’s tried and true technology, for a leap forward in its road shoe offerings.

Building upon the lightweight and compact Provision 5, the new Provision 6 features Altra’s EGO™ midsole foam cushioning, a proprietary blend of cushioning compounds offering a soft yet springy ride. Runners can expect more support and stability from this shoe, thanks to its dynamic support technology: a newly refined medial GuideRail™ and a molded heel cup. Provision 6 also boasts a simplified lacing system and refurbished upper-fit, providing an accommodating locked-in feel for all-day support.

An Innerflex™ midsole provides grid-like grooves designed to maintain flexibility while Footpod™ technology maps the bones and tendons of the foot to encourage natural movement.

The Provision 6 is available at altrarunning.com, in men’s sizes 7-15 and women’s sizes 5.5-12 in a variety of colorways, with an MSRP of $130.
