Applications Now Open for Second-Annual 36 Hours in Kitsbow Grant Program

Kitsbow will provide production stipend and gear to five grant winners to showcase their 36-hour adventure

PETALUMA, Calif. (Feb. 5, 2019) – Following the conclusion of its successful 36 Hours in Kitsbow film series, Kitsbow announces that 2019 applications are now open for its second annual grant program that features unique short films telling the story of an overnight biking adventure.

“The goal for 36 Hours in Kitsbow was to show the world that anyone can have an epic experience right out their front door, without having to wait for vacation or plan a long and costly trip,” said David Billstrom, CEO of Kitsbow. “We were completely blown away by each of the five stories, all of which were rooted in a deep passion for cycling. We can’t wait to see what people create this year.” 

From now until Feb. 28, Kitsbow will be accepting applications outlining what your 36-hour adventure would look like and why Kitsbow should fund it. The five most creative and well-thought-out pitches will be selected as winners and will receive the following:

• Cash: Kitsbow will grant $1,500 towards film production expenses.
• Gear: Kitsbow will provide a variety of gear to be worn in the film. 
• Promo: Each of the five films will be heavily promoted through Kitsbow’s social media channels and other marketing platforms, providing optimal exposure to bike and outdoor audiences.
• Discounts: Winners will automatically become Kitsbow Ambassadors, enjoying the benefits that come with that status.
