DENVER (September, 2023)/OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Get ready for a new culinary journey with Emmy Award® winner and four-time James Beard Award-winning TV personality and chef, Andrew Zimmern and the return of his series, Andrew Zimmern’s Wild Game Kitchen, on Monday, September 25 at 9 p.m. EDT on Outdoor Channel.

This groundbreaking series, which Zimmern also produces, takes viewers on a journey through the world of cooking wild game, seafood, and foraged vegetables over live fire, showcasing unique recipes, a chef’s techniques to ensure the best result, and the rich cultural stories behind the dishes. Each episode shows Zimmern, an avid outdoorsman, a natural teacher and engaging presence, creating a meal using sustainably sourced wild foods accompanied by seasonal sides, often using foraged ingredients or items from his garden.

States Andrew Zimmern, “The way we eat has evolved over time, and so should the way we cook. In Season 3 of Wild Game Kitchen, I’m excited to share even more of the recipes and techniques that will help cooks go beyond the basics when preparing food over fire. And while the foods I use in the series are sustainable and wild, the same recipes and methods of cooking can be used with ingredients purchased from any grocery store. I never stop learning about food, and in Wild Game Kitchen I love to share what I’ve learned.”

“As a lifelong outdoorsman and chef, Andrew is perfectly positioned to demystify cooking wild food over an open fire, creating delicious and easy meals while sharing tips for hunting and gathering. This show represents our commitment to delivering high-quality content that both entertains and educates our viewers about the field-to-plate lifestyle,” Outdoor Sportsman Group Vice President of Programming Mitch Petrie said. “Prepare to be both entertained and educated as Zimmern delves deeper into the untamed heart of the culinary world.”

Zimmern, who is a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations World Food Programme, writer, teacher, world traveler, and social justice advocate, is also the creator, executive producer and host of Travel Channel’s Bizarre Foods franchise, Andrew Zimmern’s Driven by Food and the Emmy Award®-winning The Zimmern List. He has dedicated his life to exploring and promoting cultural acceptance, tolerance and understanding through food.

In 2020, Zimmern’s series What’s Eating America (MSNBC) redefined how we tell stories about our food systems, and he premiered Family Dinner on Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia Network in 2021. He can also be seen judging the epic culinary battle Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend on Netflix and his latest series on Outdoor Channel is his first on the outdoor lifestyle network.

Andrew Zimmern’s Wild Game Kitchen seasons one and two also can be seen on MyOutdoorTV (MOTV).
