Balega Introduces Crew Length Ultralight, New Colorways in Hidden Comfort and Hidden Contour Collections

(August 1, 2019) — Balega International, a leading sock brand in the run specialty market, is expanding several of its favorite sock collections for Fall 2019 with the introduction of a new Ultralight crew length model, and new colorways of the Hidden Comfort and Hidden Contour collections. The new styles will be available online and at specialty retail stores at the beginning of August.

The new crew length Ultralight ($15 MSRP) combines fine performance yarns with protection-based design to create the sheerest, lightest performance running socks. The Ultralight sock features Balega’s proprietary Drynamix® moisture wicking fibers and reinforced microfiber mesh ventilation panels to keep feet cool and dry. The enhanced, strategically shaped cushioning that follows the contours of your heel provides maximum protection and impact resistance. In the updated style, the cushioning now also reaches higher over the toe area for increased comfort and durability. The differentiated elastic bands provide compression and a superior fit. Unique to all Balega products, these socks feature a hand-linked toe closure system for a seamless, non-irritating fit.

 The original Balega sock, Hidden Comfort  ($13 MSRP), remains the best-selling Balega product. Carefully crafted with the finest proprietary moisture management yarns, densely compacted into each square inch, the Hidden Comfort provides protective cushioning that will outlast any run. The low-modulus elastane throughout ensures  a structured but non-restrictive fit, and the plush under-sole cushioning adds extra protection. The mesh construction provides ventilation, while the heel tab helps prevent the sock from slipping into your running shoe. Hidden Comfort also features hand-linked to closure and a reinforced heel and toe. For fall 2019, the Hidden Comfort is offered in five new two-tone colorways, including: Light Aqua/Midgrey, Legion Blue/Teal, Electric Pink/Sherbet Pink, Charged Purple/Lilac and Peach/Neon Coral.

 The Balega Hidden Contour ($14 MSRP), with three different elasticated bands, provides a compressive, structured fit with all the luxury that a 200N cushion offers. For Fall 2019, the socks feature new and improved elastane throughout for an even more structured fit. The plush under-sole cushioning adds extra protection. The mesh construction provides ventilation, while the heel tab helps prevent the sock from slipping into your running shoe. The Hidden Contour sock also features a hand-linked to closure and a reinforced heel and toe.  For fall 2019, the updated socks will be offered in all new attractive colorways, including: White/Gray, Midgrey/Ink, Legion Blue/Midgrey, Black/Fog, Aloe/Fog, Ethereal Blue/Aqua, Bright Lilac/Pink and Neon Coral/Pink.
