Bedrock, Filson Parent Company Names Michele Santana CFO

DETROIT, Oct. 20, 2021 /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Bedrock Manufacturing Company has named Michele Santana as the company’s Chief Financial Officer, a key appointment as Bedrock continues to drive operational excellence and accelerate its path to sustained growth and profitability.

Santana joins Bedrock– the parent company of Shinola and Filson – with over two decades of executive leadership experience in finance, strategy and compliance. She most recently served as CFO of Majestic Steel, a privately held national market leader in flat rolled steel distribution and processing.

Prior to Majestic, Michele was the CFO for Signet Jewelers, a publicly traded international retail jeweler. Signet operates nine retail brands throughout its 3500 stores, including Kay Jewelers, Jared, Zale’s and has over 29,000 employees. Prior to Signet, she worked in public accounting for KPMG for nearly 15 years.

Santana will report to Mark Light, Executive Chairman of Bedrock’s board of directors. “Michele compliments our strong performance-based culture, is results oriented and is exactly what we need to lead us to sustained long-term growth,” Light said.

Michele is currently on the board of directors for Transdigm, Inc. a global producer, designer and supplier of aerospace components and systems and Chair of the board for the Akron Zoo. She is a CPA and a member of Women Corporate Directors.
