Big Agnes Boosts Sales Team with Key Hires and Promotions

Outdoor industry veteran Craig Hatton named Director of North American Sales

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (Oct. 28, 2021) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Big Agnes, the Steamboat-Springs-based outdoor equipment brand, today announced a series of new hires and promotions within its sales team, which continues to expand in the brand’s twentieth year of operation. Joining the sales teams are Craig Hatton and Parker Batt, while current team members Kody Herman and Eric Einfeld have been promoted within the company.

Craig Hatton joins the Big Agnes team as its new Director of North American Sales. Hatton will work alongside long-time North American Sales Manager, Rose Alford, and the sales team to create and support sales strategies and policies to promote the brand’s expansion. With over 20 years of outdoor industry experience with brands including Black Diamond and Backcountry Access, Hatton is a strong addition to the team.

Eric Einfeld, who joined Big Agnes from Smartwool in 2020, has been promoted to Sales Operations & Planning Manager. In this new role, he will directly support in-house sales and outside rep agencies to help achieve the brand’s annual objectives. Einfeld will be involved with product forecasting, performance tracking and providing key insights on future business initiatives.

Kody Herman, a Big Agnes staff member since 2016, has also been promoted to an Operations Business Analyst position. Herman will be assisting Einfeld and the Dealer Services team with the allocation and management of inventory based on analysis of trends, product performance, and promotional, event and dealer needs. Herman previously served in the Sales Coordinator role and is excited to continue to grow with the company.

Also joining the company, Parker Batt will work closely with the team as Sales Coordinator. Batt is also an industry veteran, with both inside and outside sales experience, with brands including Shimano and Pearl Izumi. An avid outdoorsman, Batt is thrilled to offer his authentic enthusiasm for the brand in a sales role.
