Bridgedale Donates More Than 5,000 Socks To Help People Affected By Homeless This Winter Season

Knock Knock, Give a Sock to distribute socks to thousands of people in the New York City area

Markham, Ontario (December 18, 2017) – Bridgedale Outdoor Ltd, a global market leader in the manufacture of performance socks, has donated 5,300 Merino Hiker socks to the nonprofit organization Knock Knock, Give a Sock (KKGS). The socks will be distributed to thousands of people in the New York City area who are affected by homelessness throughout this winter season. 

“This generous donation from Bridgedale will truly help the most vulnerable of our community this winter,” said Adina Lichman, founder of KKGS. “Socks are the most needed, but least donated article of clothing for those experiencing homelessness. Now, thanks to Bridgedale and our other partners, we’ll have enough to try to meet the need out there for this winter.”
