Burley Set to Launch New and Improved Child Bike Trailer Collection

New trailers showcase upscale technology features, better usability, compatibility and maneuverability, while staying true to their classic adventure design

Eugene, OR (March 1, 2019) – Burley Design – known for its award-winning outdoor recreational transport gear, trusted by generations of families since 1978 – is celebrating, and kicking off, their 40th anniversary in 2019 by launching a new collection of redesigned and updated kids bike trailers.  The new line of Sport and Performance trailers is set to debut in retail globally, and on Burley.com, March 1st, 2019.

For Spring 2019, Burley is expanding and modifying the upper tier of their child bike line with brand new performance and sport trailers. Every trailer with a handlebar now comes standard with a 1-Wheel Stroller Kit, which allows customers to bike and stroll out of the box without the purchase of supplementary accessories. In addition, all high-end child trailers feature a new, easy one-hand recline function. The double passenger D’Lite X and Cub X stand out with an individual recline to fine tune each seat back. 

The performance line of Burley’s new trailers hosts a suite of the best features available. The D’Lite X, D’Lite, D’Lite Single, and Cub X feature improved ergonomic handlebars, new interiors, seat recline, plus new premium seat pads with headrests that put an emphasis on comfort. New Quick Receivers feature a spring-loaded pin for faster and easier tow bar and conversion kit installation. In addition, all premium trailers have full-length UV windows that allow for protected panoramic viewing while reclined or upright. Ideal for the daily commuter, or avid cyclist who is willing to invest in premium products, Burley’s new performance trailers provide comfortable interiors for the rider. 

The Encore X and Encore sport trailers are updated versions of the original Encore. A new passenger padding system, along with a suspension on the Encore X, provide comfort for the next generation of riders. Burley’s new sport trailers are versatile and can be equipped for jogging, skiing, and more, with the purchase of additional accessories for adventurers that like to mix up their routine. 

All Burley conversion kits are also being updated with improved aesthetics and functionality for easier use and transitions.
