Helinox’s Lightweight and Packable New Kit Brings the Café Anywhere You Want to Go

BERKELEY, Calif. – August 19, 2021 – Helinox, the original maker of lightweight, portable furniture and accessories, and Café Kitsuné, the specialty coffee retailer from multi-faceted Paris-meets-Tokyo brand Kitsuné, which extended its activities to roasteries, bars and restaurants, have joined for a sneak preview of Helinox’s new Café Chair and Café Table, which outfit Café Kitsuné Paris signature logo.

The new Chair and Table create the ability to set up your own Café anywhere, with a comfortable, higher level that’s perfect for enjoying food, drinks and conversation. Like all of Helinox’s premium, lightweight furniture and accessories, the new Café Chair and Café Table are thoughtfully designed for durability and ease of carry and setup, and to open the door to new outdoor experiences. The partnership with Café Kitsuné provides a preview of the new Chair and Table, which will be released and available in a range of styles and colors in Spring, 2022.

The Café Chair captures the comfort and shape of Helinox’s award-winning Chair One, yet higher off the ground and with a more upright sitting posture for a true café feel. To support the taller height, the Helinox team bolstered the design with stronger hubs, a wider base and larger diameter alloy legs. The seat height easily slides under any standard 28” tall table, and is designed to perfectly complement the Helinox Café Table. The Café Chair offers a capacity of up to 320 lbs, and is made with DAC alloy and 600 denier polyester. MSRP: $200 / 200€ / 1950 RMB / ¥18 900

The Café Table is an entirely new design for Helinox and is a perfect companion for the Café Chair. The Café Table offers a high-pressure laminate top for a smooth surface that easily wipes clean and can withstand temperatures of up to 356-degrees F (180 degrees C) for short periods or 212 F (100 C) for up to eight hours, making the table perfect for cooking, hot drinks and other needs. The shock-corded, DAC aluminum legs are easy to assemble and snap directly into the tabletop for transport, with the table carried by a removable handle that snaps into place. The uniquely designed hub allows the legs to rotate independently as you open and close them.  MSRP: $300 / 300€ / 2950 RMB / ¥28 350

Earlier this summer, Helinox and Maison Kitsuné, the independent fashion label from Paris-meets-Tokyo brand Kitsuné, introduced the Chillax Fox Heart of Summer collection, including the Chair One, Table One Hard Top, Cot One Convertible and the Royal Box Shade structure in a lightly honeycombed seersucker fabric.
