CamelBak® Taps Lifestraw® to Launch Exclusive Collaboration

The category-leading hydration brands developed the Eddy+ filtered by Lifestraw collection in order to streamline on-the-go water filtration

(October 13,  2021) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – CamelBak®, the global leader in award-winning personal hydration products, unveils the new CamelBak filtered by Lifestraw® collection, featuring products with integrated filtration that will allow users to enjoy clean and delicious water wherever they go. The collection includes several integrated water bottles, reservoirs and stand-alone filters to match whatever water filtration needs a person might have. The new collection also features a give-back component: for every CamelBak filtered by LifeStraw product purchased, a child in need receives safe drinking water for an entire year.

The unique Eddy®+ filtered by Lifestraw system features two stages of filtration. First, the Hollow Fiber Filter removes bacteria, parasites, and microplastics. Next, the Ion Exchange Filter reduces lead, taste and odor, chlorine, and other chemicals, so you can enjoy clean and delicious water at home or on the go. This filter can be purchased as a stand-alone accessory, or paired with an Eddy+ bottle or Crux® 2L Reservoir Filtration Kit.

Additionally, for every CamelBak filtered by LifeStraw product purchased, with the exception of a few accessories, a child in need receives safe drinking water for an entire year thanks to Lifestraw’s Give Back program which distributes LifeStraw Community purifiers to school children in need.  Each large-scale purifier provides approximately 100 students with safe water for 5 years.  The program also provides health, and hygiene education and continues follow-up by local staff for a minimum of 5 years.
