Chaco Hits the Road with Fit for Adventure Tour

The brand debuts new repair bus by stopping in major cities throughout the 2021 summer

ROCKFORD, Mich. (May 26, 2021) – Chaco Footwear, the iconic outdoor lifestyle brand, is launching a national tour featuring a mobile factory bus and a Chillos Mobile Pop-Up.

Consumers around the country will have the chance to meet the ReChaco Roving Repairs Bus- a vintage school bus turned mobile factory. Visitors will be able to drop off sandals for same-day repair and customize Classic Z Sandals and Chillos. The tour will take root in Portland, Denver, Nashville, and Austin.

“Our brand is based on the belief that sustainability is durability,” said Lyndi Bell, Brand Marketing Manager for Chaco. “The tour is allowing us to bring this message to more of #ChacoNation and those new to the brand.”

Chaco will be offering free repairs for most Z Sandals and any repairs that cannot be done on-site will be sent to the ReChaco factory in Michigan. There will also be an array of exclusive webbings and components for consumers to custom design Z/1 Sandals and Chillos. Visitors to the Roving Repairs bus and Chillos Mobile Pop-Up will have the chance to enter to win an OARS trip, as well as other giveaways and swag. The bus will be semi-permanent, staying in one location throughout its residency in each city.

Additionally, Chaco will have inline Chillos available for purchase at the Chillos Mobile Pop-Up. The pop-ups will occur in and around the city in which the Roving Repairs Bus is parked. Consumers will be encouraged to enter on-site giveaways, pick up swag, drop off their sandals to be repaired, and get fit for Chillos.

At the Roving Repair Bus, there will be walk-up time slots available, but it is recommended that customers book an appointment at www.chacos.com/US/en/tour/or custom orders and repairs. The Chillos Mobile Pop-Up will be walk-up only.

The tour schedule is as follows:

• Portland, OR: June 7-13
• Denver, CO: June 20 – July 3
• Nashville, TN: July 12-25
• Austin, TX: September 18 – October 3
