DÆHLIE launches “Run 365” collection along with Nordic Ski styles for Fall 2019
February 1, 2019
The #1 Norwegian apparel brand in Scandinavia creates training apparel for all conditions & winter endurance sports
BROOMFIELD, Colo. (February 1, 2019) DÆHLIE is launching a run apparel collection at Outdoor Retailer Snow Show that is designed to outfit the runner for any winter training conditions. Along with the Run 365 line, the Fall apparel collection will also include new and updated Nordic apparel pieces.
“We are excited to launch the new collection in 2019 as the brand grows into new markets,” said North America Sales Manager Andrew Kroese, “Since 2016, DÆHLIE has established itself as a top choice for Nordic skiers, and now the brand makes apparel for all winter endurance sports.”
Thoughtfully designed with performance, comfort and protection from harsh conditions in mind, both the Run and Nordic Ski collections draw inspiration from Norwegian nature and the tenacity of the Norwegian cross-country team, which DÆHLIE sponsors. Both collections feature pieces with innovative, sustainable and thoughtfully sourced materials. Merino Wool remains a key material for its natural moisture wicking and insulating properties, and environmentally safe impact.
The Fall/Winter 2019 collection is designed to differentiate between running and cross-country skiing apparel, the latter of which has traditionally been a key focus for the brand. With reflective detailing, breathable materials and cuts designed specifically for the runner, the Run 365 collection aims to outfit runners even in the most challenging conditions, including dark, early mornings and wet, cold rain or snow.

Sustainable innovation is one of DÆHLIE’s core philosophies, and the brand abides by environmentally and socially safe practices. This includes the brand’s use of sustainably-sourced Merino Wool, the Bionic Finish Eco water-repellent finishing system, and the use of DownTek – an environmentally safe down – among other environmentally conscious practices. DÆHLIE is completely fur free and honors The Responsible Down Standard, which aims to ensure that feathers come from animals that have not been subjected to an unnecessary harm. The brand also follows the UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights and The International Labour Organization regulations in their factories.
Founded by cross country skier Bjørn Dæhlie in 1996, the brand has produced highly innovative and optimized technical ski and performance training apparel for Nordic skiers for more than 20 years. The brand’s identity has evolved over time from a purely technical ski brand to a performance training and active lifestyle apparel brand. The brand’s new visual identity demonstrates its core values, aspirational messaging, and position in the market. DÆHLIE aims to reach broader consumer groups in the U.S. and North American markets and showcase its product collections for all-season, all-weather athletes and outdoor enthusiasts.
