Dagger Reintroduces Kaos for Surf Kayaking

August 31, 2016

The roto-molded Kaos is smooth, fast and nimble

GREENVILLE, S.C. (August 31, 2016) – Dagger, a leader in whitewater, performance recreational and touring kayaks, today reintroduced its fan-favorite Kaos 10.2: a maneuverable, roto-molded kayak for surf zones.

“Surf junkies will love its durability and high performance in a variety of environments,” said Evan Lyendecker, marketing director for Dagger. “It’s perfect for beginners to intermediate paddlers looking for a versatile and forgiving surf kayak.”

The Kaos’ versatile design excels in surf conditions and can be paddled well on flat water and mild whitewater. The Kaos’ surfboard-like hull coupled with its low, sleek profile creates a smooth, fast and nimble ride. The front is rockered for wave takeoffs and aggressive carving.

The thigh straps, back band and molded-in foot brace allow for phenomenal control of the kayak while the three removable surf fins provide additional grip and drive in waves. Molded-in seat and foot wells compliment the comfortable thigh straps and adjustable back band, all providing points of contact for unprecedented control. A 5” deck plate with attached cat bag can be used to store small items such as a bottle or sunscreen.

The Kaos 10.2 is $749 USD and launches to retailers in September 2016.
