Latest addition to line of legendary wall tents modernizes traditional camp tent

Asheville, NC – November 8, 2019 – Diamond Brand Gear, an American outdoor gear maker, is excited to debut an updated, modern approach to the classic wall tent. The newest addition to the brand’s line of legendary Canvas Wall Tents, the Atlas, expands upon the best features of previous generations to create the ultimate camp tent.

A giant in the summer camp market for over 100 years, Diamond Brand Gear’s Canvas Wall Tents have been a staple at camps across America—including the renowned Philmont Scout Ranch—for several decades. The brand’s new Atlas Canvas Wall Tent combines the best components of the existing Elementum and Warhorse models—from increased ventilation to improved security—to create a superior camp experience.

The tent’s two-door entry means easy access with generous ventilation. Zippered windows and optional roll up sides allow campers plenty of options for maximum airflow. The Atlas Scout tent features four zippered windows on the sides, while the larger staff tent contain six, so Scouts and staffers alike can keep the breeze and the adventure flowing.

Letting some air in doesn’t mean letting weather and wildlife in too. All doors feature AquaGuard™ Water Repellent Zippers with velcro loops, while all windows feature heavy duty zippers with two snap closures—all in the name of extra protection from the elements. The tent will be available in three fabrics:  a 13 ounce Polaris Canvas in Suntan or Pearl Grey or a lighter 600D polyester, a new option for the brand. All fabrics come waterproofed and ready-to-use with no seasoning needed.
