DPS Skis Announces Partnership with KOHLA

Utah ski manufacturer to be exclusive North American distributor for Austrian mountain sports brand

SALT LAKE CITY (Nov. 17, 2023) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – DPS Skis, the U.S.-based ski manufacturer pairing aerospace carbon technology with groundbreaking shapes, announces a partnership with KOHLA, the Austrian brand specializing in mountain sports equipment. DPS will be the exclusive North American distributor for KOHLA and will be offering the brand’s climbing skins, backpacks, and climbing skin accessories starting November of 2023.

KOHLA was founded in 1932 in Innsbruck, Austria by Max Kohla and is still a family run business. KOHLA has always specialized in gear for mountain sports, with an emphasis on backcountry skiing and snowboarding, and is currently the world’s largest manufacturer of climbing skins. All of KOHLA’s products are field tested near the brand’s headquarters in Austria’s Stubai Alps.
