Field Mag Welcomes Tanner Bowden as Managing Editor

The leader in design-driven outdoor lifestyle content welcomes Bowden, a talented editor, photographer and former senior staff writer at Gear Patrol

New York, New York — Field Mag, the digital publication of choice for lovers of good design and the great outdoors, welcomes Tanner Bowden as Managing Editor. Most recently the senior staff writer at Gear Patrol, Bowden will have a lead role in sustaining and building upon Field Mag’s ongoing exponential growth.

Bowden brings extensive experience in writing, editing, and photography to the outdoor lifestyle website known best for its photography-led storytelling and aspirational cabin content. In addition to covering outdoors and fitness for Gear Patrol, Bowden has contributed to Freeskier, ESPN’s XGames.com, and Whalebone Magazine. Prior to pursuing his career in digital media, Bowden was a wilderness instructor and Jackson Hole ski bum. He is a graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School and the University of Vermont.
