FITS® socks Sponsors 43rd Annual Slumberland American Birkiebeiner

Chattanooga, TN (Feb 17, 2016) – FITS®, makers of the best fitting performance socks in the world, is excited to be a major sponsor of the 2016 Slumberland American Birkiebeiner for a 5^th year in a row. The race series will take place on Thursday, February 18^th through Saturday, February 20^th in Hayward, Wisconsin.

The Birkiebeiner is the largest Nordic Ski event in North America, with over 10,500 skiers participating in various races leading up to the main event day. The three-day series culminates with two races, the 51K Skate, and the 55K Classic, which begin in Cable, WI and end in Hayward, WI. The two races will take place on Saturday, February 20^th and an awards ceremony will follow, awarding the top male and female finishers.

FITS® will also be a presenting sponsor for the “Elite Sprints” event, a single elimination sprinting event that will kick of the Birkie race series at the Birkie Expo in downtown Hayward, WI. FITS® will have a tent set up Thursday and Friday at the Birkie Expo, where staff will have FITS® socks available for racers, friends and family interested in purchasing product, or learning more about the brand.
