Flylow boosts mountain bike collection with easygoing performance designs for summer 2020

DENVER, COL./ May 29, 2019 —  Flylow (www.flylowgear.com), designers of independent, homegrown and mountain raised apparel, is boosting their mountain-bike collection for spring 2020.

Debuting at the 2019 Outdoor Retailer Summer Market, Flylow’s newest mountain bike styles build on a tradition of pairing technical performance with a healthy dose of understated mountain style.

Reflecting Flylow’s easygoing and everyday vibe, the new mountain bike styles join more than 30 other mountain lifestyle pieces in the Flylow spring collection, including lightweight shells, button front shirts, tees, tanks, shorts, pants and hats.

“Eventually, the snow melts, even in a ski town,” said Dan Abrams, president and co-founder of Flylow. “Riding is a huge part of every Flylow summer, and our newest designs are built for the kind of summer days we love: early starts on the dirt, and big finishes on the lake.”

For men, the all-new mountain bike kits include the Shaw shirt and Deckard short, and the Garrett shirt and Goodson short.

The Shaw Shirt ($75) is a streamlined, long-sleeve tech T with active stretch and UV protection. Inspired by downhill bikers but perfectly suited to everyone else, the Shaw feels lightweight and airy as it delivers a perfect combo of full coverage and temperature management.  The Deckard Short ($90) is a quick-dry, three-pocket enduro short featuring a long 14-inch inseam, mechanical stretch, hand pockets that are rotated to the back slightly so things in them don’t get in the way of hip crease, and a super tough fabric.

The new Garrett Shirt ($65) has a drop tail, mesh panels and is treated with Polygiene to prevent stink day-in and day-out.  The Garrett shirt features a polyester-spandex mix, and is perfect for a downhill biker, a cross-country rider, or a just-about-everyday bike commuter. The Goodson Short ($100) is created with the same durable ripstop fabric Flylow uses in its lightweight mountaineering gear.  This custom MTB-ready fabric deflects branches and a retro-inspired ripstop patterned exterior and welded seams adds durability.

For women, Flylow’s mountain bike kits include the full protection Hawkins shirt and Eleanor short, and the fully stylish combo of the Jessi shirt and Marion short.

The Hawkins ($55) is a riding shirt built with Intuitive IQ fabric, and a recognizable profile pairing a long torso with three-quarter-length sleeves. The quick drying polyester-spandex mix also serves up a boost of 50+ UPF protection and Polygiene odor-fighting technology.  The Eleanor ($90) is a perfect riding short when paired with a chamois, and a key choice for the lake or the crags when worn solo. Made with smooth flexing polyester and an adjustable waist for a comfort fit, the Eleanor’s lengthy 12.5-inch inseam provides plenty of protection and pockets.

The Jesse ($60) is a technical, short-sleeved biking shirt that breathes, wicks moisture away and blocks body odor with Polygiene technology. Combining raglan sleeve comfort with a long and flattering fit, the Jesse blurs the line between gym clothes and the everyday favorite T. The Marion ($70) is a go-anywhere, do-anything summer short with a 4.5-inch inseam. Mixing polyester, cotton and spandex, the Marion delivers the ultimate in casual performance, with quick drying capabilities that eliminate the need to change between bike ride and river dip.
