The Power Grid material was selected due to a unique geometric knit that enhances warmth and airflow while reducing fabric mass, making it ideal for active outdoor use. The hydrophilic surface wicks moisture to keep wearers dry, while the grid knit creates air channels to prevent heat loss. Polartec engineers and manufactures their products in the USA, a prerequisite for FORLOH when sourcing materials. The repurposed military spec tear-resistant overlay is from excess stock FORLOH used to produce millions of first responder gowns during the pandemic in 2020.

This thermal performance vest is perfect for layering or wearing on its own. The hydrophilic inner surface wicks moisture to keep wearers warm and dry, while the grid knit creates air channels to prevent heat loss. It also utilizes Polartec® Shed Less Technology to prevent microfiber shedding during washing to maintain softness and durability. YKK zippers throughout and one zipper-secured chest pocket. Raider Polartec Anorak

A unique, technically-engineered and feature-filled anorak. This jacket is reinforced with strategically-placed, ultralight, rugged 70d shadow-box ripstop nylon overlays for weather and abrasion protection. Built from the ground up with technical lightweight and extremely versatile Polartec® PowerGrid™ fabric. It also features a roomy kangaroo pocket with internal compartments, a hem cinch, and articulated elbows for a tailored fit. Men’s only – $179

Raider Polartec Half Zip

Thermal performance is at the heart of this fabric’s grid knit. The unique construction strengthens performance efficiency by increasing warmth and breathability, while also reducing fabric mass.
