Former Bachelor Star and Agriculture Ambassador Chris Soules Shares His Story on CarbonTV’s American Elements

July 28, 2016

DETROIT, MI — July 28, 2016 — CarbonTV’s award-winning documentary series American Elements profiles former Bachelor star Chris Soules. The short film is available today for streaming on www.carbontv.com and related CarbonTV OTT apps.

After being in the Hollywood spotlight on the Bachelor season 19, the Bachelorette, and Dancing with the Stars, Soules returned to his roots to focus on his lifelong passion – farming. The northeast Iowa native is a fourth-generation corn and soybean farmer and an agricultural ambassador who is using his celebrity to change the way people think about farming.

There was never a doubt in my mind that I wanted to be a farmer… I never thought I’d be anything else. I hope sharing my story will change some misconceptions about farmers and what farming looks like today,” said Chris Soules.

“From Taya Kyle to Cameron Hanes and now Chris Soules, the American Elements franchise continues to provide our viewers with a rare glimpse into the lives of these captivating personalities,” said Daniel Seliger, EVP of Content and Marketing at Carbon Media Group. “Chris is the perfect person to bring the important message of today’s agriculture industry to mainstream audiences.”
