GoSnug Launches Innovative Luxury Merino Wool Blanket

GoSnug, a new adventure lifestyle company headquartered in Missoula, Montana, is launching its line of innovative luxury blankets that balance contemporary design, the rugged durability of the highest quality technical fabrics, and the soft delicate feeling of merino wool in three cozy, breathable layers.

Several years ago, GoSnug founder Rob Nowak began his quest for the perfect blanket that could withstand the demands of commercial fishing in Alaska and satisfy his discerning sense of style. After failing to find a blanket that combined the comfort and quality of merino wool with the style and durability of colorful technical fabrics, Nowak designed his own.

The result is a first of its kind blanket that repels light rain and stains, with insulation that holds in heat and keeps insulating even when wet, and features wicking, anti-odor and thermal regulating properties.

“It feels pretty amazing to be launching a truly unique product that didn’t exist in the outdoor industry or the luxury home goods market until now” says Nowak. “The GoSnug is designed for everyone and to go everywhere, thereby changing the way we sleep and recreate.” Nowak intends to test the GoSnug’s performance with Dr. Brent Ruby at the Montana Center for Work Physiology and Exercise Metabolism at the University of Montana (WPEM).

Inspired by a balanced admiration for thoughtfully designed houseware, a passion for outdoor adventure, and an unwavering belief that comfort should never be compromised, Nowak describes GoSnug as “The blanket for at home and wherever you roam”.

GoSnug’s initial product line features five colors in five sizes, ranging from XS for babies to XL for King sized beds. Nowak plans to add additional colors following the GoSnug Kickstarter campaign.
