Matthews Brings Decades of Industry Expertise to Growing Outdoor Brand

BERKELEY, Calif. – September 24, 2024 /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Helinox, the brand that created the category of lightweight, portable furniture, today announces the hiring of Courtney Matthews as Vice President of Marketing, Helinox North America. Matthews joins Helinox with decades of experience in the outdoor industry spanning brand marketing, go-to-market sales strategies, building teams and designing and executing omnichannel programs.

As VP of Marketing, Matthews will lead all marketing initiatives for Helinox North America, and joins the company during a key period of growth and expansion into new outdoor product categories. Matthews will be based at Helinox’s US headquarters in Berkeley, Calif.

Matthews’ former roles include Principal at CMMC Consulting, Senior Director of Sales Strategy at Outside Inc., Executive Director of Marketing and Marketing and Business Development Director at Active Interest Media, and Marketing Director and other executive roles at Rodale, Inc.
