Hillsound Equipment Gives Back with Outdoor Event Sponsorships and Fundraisers this Season

Vancouver, BC (November 27, 2018) – Hillsound Equipment, the leading producer of winter traction equipment and gaiters for outdoor enthusiasts, is sponsoring four outdoor events in the US and Canada throughout the fall and winter season. Each event will use Hillsound’s products as prizes for event attendees.

Hillsound is donating their Trail Crampon Ultras to Capra’s 30×30 Running Challenge, North Shore Search and Rescue Fundraiser, and the Run Winter Wild Series. Hillsound’s Trail Crampon Ultras and Armadillo LT Gaiters will be donated to Burgers for Bears Fundraiser.

Capra’s annual November 30X30 Challenge encourages outdoor lovers to go ‘streaking’ and run outside at least 30 minutes for the 30 days of November to enjoy the local Vancouver trails together.

The 4^th annual fundraiser to benefit the BC Search and Rescue team occurred on November 13^th and had a 50/50 raffle and silent auction.  Proceeds from the raffle and auction will be donated to search and rescue volunteers in the Lower Mainland and Sea to Sky Corridor.

The 10^th annual Run Winter Wild Series in New England are uphill races ‘with a twist.’ Each race begins and ends at the bottom of the mountain and allows racers to view the breathtaking beauty of nature and experience the thrill of finishing a race on the downhill.

On December 4^th, the Burgers for Bears fundraiser will raise money for wildlife preservation. There will be live music, a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, and wildlife trivia. All the money raised from the event will support the Northwest Wildlife Preservation Society and their mission to preserve wildlife and wildlife systems in British Columbia.
