December 2, 2022
Nederland, CO (December 2, 2022) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Ibex, leader in merino wool apparel and accessories, is excited to announce their newest agency relationships to manage sales for the brand. PlayNorthwest will represent Ibex in the Pacific Northwest, while Split Rock Sales will cover the Central U.S.
In the Pacific Northwest, Patricia Lenz of PlayNorthwest and her team of hardworking, hard charging women have been chosen to represent Ibex in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska. “Ibex is the quintessential mountain town merino brand – confident, capable, beautiful and always ready for a real adventure. We look forward to being a part of the Ibex team and working with our retailers to help them fall in love with Ibex once again. The customer is still out there looking for Ibex to fill the void that their hiatus has left behind.”
Luke Olson of Split Rock Sales says, “We are excited to partner with Ibex, a pioneer merino brand in the industry. Under new ownership, Ibex is poised to bring a technical brand of merino to the back to the industry. We’re thrilled to be able to bring classics like Shak and Woollies to our retailers, along with some revolutionary new fabrics that will redefine the category.”
In an ongoing effort to enter new markets, Ibex has been adding sales representation throughout the country and is now covered throughout the Intermountain West, Northeast, South Central, Pacific Northwest, and Central U.S. regions. Brian Roberts, who leads Global Business Development at Flour Brands, says, “We are incredibly proud of the outside sales team we are building to bring Ibex back to outdoor specialty. These premier agency partnerships validate what we’ve believed–that Ibex has a significant runway for growth. We are excited for this journey together with both our new agency partners and our future retail partners.”

About Ibex:
Founded in Vermont in 1997 and now based in Nederland, CO, Ibex produces refined merino wool apparel and accessories. Why name a merino wool performance apparel company after a goat? To us, it makes complete sense. While sheep are known to traverse mountains, the Ibex is more agile. Active? If you call a goat that can climb sheer rock faces active, then yes. Whatever the weather or occasion, Ibex has you covered. Just as the Ibex migrates according to seasons, our performance wear was born for the modern migration from slope to city– and everywhere in between. Each garment features fine tailoring paired with the benefits of nature’s original performance fiber – merino wool. Co-founded by an avid mountain climber and fully equipped for adventure, Ibex withstands the demands of today. Ibex is committed to ethical apparel production and amplifying the message to buy less and buy better. In 2018, Ibex was sold to New York investor group, Flour Fund. https://ibex.com
