Three new team members bring outdoor experience and passion
Bainbridge Island, WA – November 10, 2021 /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Ignik, a brand dedicated to helping people get outside earlier and stay outside longer through sustainable outdoor heating products, proudly welcomes three new members to its growing team. Ryan Flynn has been named the Director of Global Sales, Brandon Ramirez joins as the Director of Art & Creative, and Andrew Lovejoy comes on as the Customer Service and Fulfillment Coordinator.
Ryan Flynn brings years of experience in technology sales and business management, including more than six years managing global sales for Johnson Outdoors brands Jetboil, Eureka!, Old Town Canoe, and Ocean Kayak. Flynn is passionate about exploring new places all over the world, typically on skis or by bike, and helping introduce people to outdoor recreation. Originally from New Hampshire, he lives for the next powder day, so he’s thrilled to join a brand whose mission is to help slow and reverse climate change and protect the winters.
Brandon Ramirez joins the Ignik team after 19 years in the outdoor industry. Ramirez got his start with Ride Snowboards and has since owned two design agencies, where he worked with a wide range of outdoor brands including DC Snowboards, Evil Bikes, Outdoor Research, and Arcade Belts. Ramirez is excited to be part of a company that aligns with his values and actively works to make a positive impact on the world.
The newest addition to the Ignik team, Andrew Lovejoy brings nearly a decade of experience working in physical education, including a three-year stint managing an entirely outdoor PE program for middle schoolers. A native of Bainbridge Island, Lovejoy looks forward to applying the communication and problem-solving skills he’s learned from years of teaching and coaching to Ignik’s customer service.
“As we continue to grow, it’s critical to bring on the right people to take Ignik to the next level,” says founder and CEO Graeme Esarey. “I couldn’t be more excited about Ryan, Brandon, and Andrew. While each of them comes to us with a completely different professional background, there’s an important common thread—a lifelong passion for the outdoors and a drive to make a lasting positive impact on the environment.”
