Inspired Design from Esteemed Architect, Ambiente, Blends Sustainability in Solar-Powered Campus with Charging Stations for Electric Cars and Bicycles
DENMARK (May 7, 2024)/OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Imbox Protection, the world’s only in-store footwear protection technology, has officially opened its new global headquarters at Ved Skoven 54, 8541 in Skødstrup, Denmark, designed to embody the company’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and employee well-being. Solar power constitutes a substantial part of powering the headquarters, which comprises a 14,000 sq. ft. office and a 9700 sq. ft. warehouse. Charging stations for electric cars and bicycles are also provided on-site.
Designed in collaboration with Ambiente, renowned for its visionary approach to architecture, the building is a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetics inspired by IMBOX’s products, history, and ethos. The facility comprises two wings – an administration wing and a wing dedicated to storage and product development.

The administration wing, characterized by an open and inviting design, features a combination of concrete, brick, and expansive windows, welcoming employees, guests, and customers. The entrance and foyer double as a showroom for Imbox Protection products.
The warehouse and product development wing boasts a more discreet facade, prioritizing functionality and efficiency. The interior spaces prioritize ample natural light and ventilation that adjusts on daily use to preserve energy.
Additionally, the building incorporates energy-efficient systems such as heat pumps, daylight control for lighting, and CO2 sensors for optimized ventilation and fitness facilities.
