JP Sportswear Pivots to P.P.E. Launching New Sports Medical Subsidiary: JP Medicalwear

LYNWOOD, California (August 26, 2020) – JP Sportswear is one of the most established apparel manufacturers in the United States. A typical day at the factory in early 2020 would have found the company producing high quality apparel and accessories for yoga, cycling, swim and many other active focused clients. But in the wake of the global COVID-19 pandemic JP Sportswear quickly pivoted to producing personal protective equipment (P.P.E) that was urgently needed by medical professionals across the country.

JP Sportswear launched JP Medicalwear as a subsidiary to manage their mission to provide critically needed protective equipment to medical professionals. JP Medicalwear is working in partnership and under contract with an innovative U.S. based company to manufacture the highest quality, reusable isolation gowns as a new and sustainable P.P.E. solution.

JP Medicalwear and JP Sportswear are proud to have both protected and even added new U.S. manufacturing jobs to the economy at a time when so many people have had their lives and livelihoods impacted by this crisis. As of August 2020, JP Medicalwear has produced and shipped over 150,000 reusable isolation gowns for medical professionals around the country. The company stands united and will continue to support front-line heroes.
